Now that your new USD account is live and your old Wells Fargo account has been retired, the final step is to update your details across all the places you get paid. This keeps your money flowing without delays, whether you receive payments from clients directly or through a platform. This guide walks you through Upwork, Fiverr, Contra, and a few other common platforms.

An important note: Before you begin, open your Raenest app, go to the Accounts page, and copy your new USD account details (account number and routing details). You'll use these on each platform below.

Upwork

Upwork needs two updates: your payment method and your FastTrack connection.

  1. Update your Upwork payment method: In your Upwork settings, replace your old bank details with your new USD account details so withdrawals route to the right place. Please note for security reasons, Upwork takes 3 days to make a new payment method available for withdrawal.
  2. Reconnect Upwork to keep FastTrack working:  Because your USD account changed, you'll need to reconnect Upwork inside Raenest, so FastTrack keeps delivering your withdrawals in under an hour:
  • Log in to the Raenest app.
  • Tap your profile avatar (top left).
  • Select Connected Apps.
  • Tap Upwork, then follow the prompts to sign in with your Upwork email and password.

If you normally sign in to Upwork with Google, you'll need to disable Google SSO first, since FastTrack connects using your email and password:

  • Log in to Upwork and open Account Settings from your avatar.
  • Go to Password & Security.
  • Under Login with Google, click Disconnect.
  • Set a new password, then sign back in with your email and password.
  • Return to Raenest, open Connected Apps, and reconnect Upwork.

Once reconnected, FastTrack withdrawals land in your Raenest balance within an hour, with limits of $1,500 on weekdays and $500 on weekends. Larger amounts process as regular Upwork payments.

Fiverr

Fiverr pays out through Payoneer, so the simplest path is to route your earnings from Fiverr to Payoneer, then from Payoneer to your new Raenest USD account. Make sure your Payoneer is set to send to your new USD account details, and that your Fiverr payment method keeps flowing through to Raenest without interruption.

Contra

On Contra, you have two easy options:

  • Update your USD account details in your Contra payout settings to your new Raenest account, or
  • Get paid in stablecoins. Contra supports crypto payouts, so you can receive USDC straight to your Raenest USDC wallet, which is a handy alternative if you'd rather skip a bank transfer.

Choose whichever method you prefer for receiving client payments on Contra.

Other platforms

For everywhere else you get paid, the rule is the same: replace your old Wells Fargo details with your new USD account details. That includes:

  • Deel
  • Gusto
  • Employer or payroll systems
  • Clients
  • Any other payment platforms

For recurring payroll or invoicing, send your clients your new USD account details directly so nothing bounces on the next cycle.

Keep your payments flowing

Updating takes only a few minutes per platform, and it's the single best way to avoid delayed or failed payments after the migration. Start with the platforms you use most and you'll be set to receive payments from clients into your new USD account right away.
