How to Receive Fiverr Payments in Egypt
If you're an Egyptian freelancer, chances are Fiverr is one of the platforms you rely on to find clients. It's one of the simplest ways to reach international buyers, and once the work starts coming in, earnings can grow quickly.
The tricky part is everything that happens after you get paid. Fiverr pays in US dollars and sends your money out through a small set of methods, nearly all of which run through Payoneer, so getting paid without losing a chunk to fees takes a little planning. This guide explains how Fiverr pays you and what each option costs, then shows the best way to receive Fiverr payments in Egypt.
How Fiverr processes payouts
Your Fiverr earnings are in US dollars, and before you can withdraw them, they go through a clearing period, so the money isn't available right away when an order is marked complete. Once it clears, you withdraw it using a payout method you set up in advance.
One thing to know from the start: Fiverr withdrawals are capped at $5,000 per transaction, and there are short waiting periods after you add or change a payout method or update your phone number. None of it is complicated, but it's worth knowing, so nothing surprises you on the day you need your money.
Fiverr gives you a few ways to withdraw your earnings, and the fees and timing differ based on the method:
- Bank Transfer, powered by Payoneer: This reaches your local bank in 1 to 3 business days or via USD wire in 5 to 7 business days, with a $1 fee and a $20 minimum.
- Payoneer Account: This moves your earnings to your Payoneer balance within about two business days, with a $3 fee and a $10 minimum.
- Payoneer Revenue Card: This loads your earnings onto a Payoneer card, with a $1-$3 fee and a $30 minimum.
- PayPal: This is listed as an option, but its withdrawal limits in Egypt make it impractical for most freelancers here, so few people use it.
Nearly every route runs on Payoneer's rails. What actually matters is whether you let Payoneer be your endpoint or use the bank transfer option to send your money to a destination you control.

Why Raenest is the best way to receive Fiverr Payments.
With Fiverr's Bank Transfer option, you can receive your Fiverr payments directly in your Raenest account from Egypt, without needing a separate Payoneer account. You enter your Raenest US account details as the destination, and when you withdraw, Fiverr sends the money as an ACH transfer that lands in your Raenest account, usually within one to two business days. This is cheaper than Payoneer and can potentially save you hundreds of dollars in fees.
Once the money is in your account, you can hold your earnings in USD or convert them to Egyptian pounds at a competitive rate and withdraw them to your local bank.
Raenest charges a flat $1 fee for ACH transfers, regardless of the amount, and shows you the fees plainly, so nothing about the payout is a surprise.
With a Raenest multi-currency account, freelancers in Egypt can:
- Receive payments in USD, GBP, or EUR directly from Fiverr.
- Convert at competitive rates and withdraw directly to their Egyptian bank
- Receive money through ACH at a $1 flat fee, no matter the amount.
- Send and receive money from over 160+ countries.
- Get USD virtual cards that work in global stores and with Tap to Pay.
How to connect your Fiverr payments to Raenest in Egypt
Step 1: Download the Raenest app or sign up on the Raenest website, choose a Personal account with Egypt as your country of residence, and complete identity verification with a clear photo of your Egyptian National ID or passport.
Step 2: Create your USD account. On the Accounts tab, select Create USD Account. You’ll need proof of freelance income before creating the account, so download an earnings statement from Fiverr (My Business, then Earnings, then the three dots, then Download Statement) or upload a clear screenshot of your active seller dashboard.
Once it's approved, you'll get your dedicated US account details: an account number, a routing number, and the account type, which is Checking.
Step 3: Link those details to Fiverr. On your Fiverr Earnings page, open Manage payout methods and choose Bank Transfer, not PayPal or the Revenue Card.
Fiverr emails you a link to continue, which opens an onboarding window.
Select United States as the bank location, choose Checking as the account type, then paste in your Raenest account number and routing number and confirm.
Now you’re ready to get started. From now on, when you withdraw from Fiverr, the money moves by ACH to your Raenest account, usually within one to two business days, and you take it from there.
