- Who can access the stocks feature?
All verified users can use the stocks feature, i.e., users who have completed identity verification on the app.
- How do I access the Stocks feature?
The stocks product is integrated into the Raenest app and can be accessed via a new "Stocks" item on the bottom navigation bar or through the "Buy stocks" quick action. Upon first access to the stocks feature, both new and existing users see a welcome screen, while repeat users of the stocks platform bypass this screen.
- How can I fund my Trading wallet?
Users can fund the trading wallet directly from any of their existing Raenest balances (NGN, USD, GBP, EUR). Minimum funding amount is $2. The trading wallet currency is USD.
- Does funding my Trading wallet incur fees?
If you are funding from your USD balance, funding is free. However, if you are funding from a different currency, a currency conversion fee may apply.
- How does withdrawal from the Trading wallet work?
You can withdraw funds available to withdraw in their trading wallet at any time. Withdrawal moves the fund from the trading wallet to their Raenest USD balance. You cannot withdraw to any other balance other than the USD balance. Minimum withdrawal amount is $2, and users can withdraw all the funds in their trading wallet.
- Does withdrawal from the Trading wallet incur fees?
No, there are no fees when withdrawing from your trading wallet.
- When are buy/sell orders executed?
Orders are executed during US market hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET). In Nigerian time (WAT), that is 2:30 pm - 9:00 pm (3:30 pm - 10:00 pm during daylight savings). This means if you want to buy or sell stocks outside of this time, the order will be submitted but not executed. The order will be executed immediately after the stock market opens.
