Some people are building businesses. Some are building audiences. Some are teaching the rest of us how to work smarter, make better money decisions, or finally do something with that idea we've been sitting on for months. And some people are doing all this while helping others find their feet, too.

Africa's digital economy is full of people like these. They're creating opportunities, sharing knowledge, building communities, and proving that there are plenty of ways to make a living, build something meaningful, and leave your mark.

At Raenest Exchange 2026, we celebrated some of them through the Raenest Community Impact Awards. From creators telling stories worth watching to builders solving real problems, here are the Raenest Community Impact Awards 2026 winners.

Meet Our Raenest Community Impact Awards 2026 winners

Tayo Aina | Creator Economy & Content Award

Tayo Aina's journey into content creation began with a simple observation: stories about Lagos and Africa deserved better storytelling. In 2017, while working as an Uber driver in Lagos, he started taking pictures of places he encountered. That interest soon grew into filmmaking and YouTube, where he began documenting the places, people, and businesses around him.

Today, Tayo is a filmmaker and content creator whose work takes audiences across Africa and beyond. Through travel documentaries and visual storytelling, he showcases places and communities that often go unseen, offering audiences new perspectives on African life and culture. His journey also demonstrates what can happen when creators develop their skills, find their voice, and build something of their own.

At the Raenest Exchange, Tayo received the Creator Economy & Content Award for creating content that educates, inspires growth, and connects people to opportunities. His recognition celebrates storytelling that informs audiences, broadens perspectives, and inspires others to see what they, too, can create.

Ekwutosi Cynthia Okeh (Digital Witch) | Freelancer Award

What if learning a new skill could change not just your career, but your entire earning potential? For thousands of Africans, that question is at the heart of Ekwutosi Cynthia Okeh's work.

Known as Digital Witch, Ekwutosi founded the Digital Witch Support Community, where she helps people build in-demand digital skills and prepare for opportunities in the global workforce. Through practical training, career guidance, and community support, she has helped more than 200,000 learners build their skills; her website reports that 80% of alumni have secured remote roles.

At the Raenest Exchange, she received the Freelancer Award for empowering others to thrive in the freelance economy. It recognises a mission that goes beyond teaching skills: helping people put those skills to work and build new possibilities for their futures.

Zazzy Emmanuel | AI Thought Leader Award

For creative professionals, AI is opening new ways to work, from generating visual concepts to turning ideas into designs faster. Knowing which tools to use and how to get the most out of them can make all the difference.

That's where Zazzy Emmanuel's work comes in. A Lagos-based creative director, brand designer, and AI artist, Zazzy combines design expertise with AI-powered creative tools. His professional profile identifies him as an AI Lead Designer and an Ideogram partner, reflecting his work at the intersection of visual design and artificial intelligence.

At the Raenest Community Impact Awards, Zazzy received the AI Thought Leader Award for making AI more accessible through education and mentorship. His recognition celebrates the importance of sharing knowledge that helps others understand emerging technology and put it to work.

Miracle Pepple (Professor X) | Amazon KDP & Self Publishing Award

For aspiring authors looking to publish independently, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) offers a way to reach readers worldwide without going through a traditional publishing house. Authors can publish ebooks and print books, retain control over their work, and reach readers across Amazon's marketplaces.

Helping writers navigate that process can mean the difference between a story that stays in a document and one that reaches readers. It's this kind of support that the Raenest Community Impact Awards celebrates through its recognition of Miracle Pepple, popularly known as Professor X.

Miracle received the Amazon KDP & Self Publishing Award for helping aspiring authors bring their stories to life.

Victoria Ezechukwu | Community Builders Award

Learning a new skill is one thing. Figuring out how to turn it into a paying opportunity is another. For many aspiring freelancers, the gap between the two can feel frustratingly wide, especially when they don't know where to start or who to turn to for guidance.

Victoria Ezechukwu saw this challenge up close. After serving as a facilitator at the Abuja Career Fair in 2022, where she introduced participants to remote work opportunities, she noticed that many wanted more hands-on support to build digital skills and work with international clients. That experience stayed with her and eventually inspired her to start teaching digital skills in 2024 and build a community to help people grow their careers.

Today, through Career Crafters Academy, Victoria helps aspiring freelancers and remote workers build practical digital skills, prepare for job opportunities, and navigate finding clients. The academy has trained thousands of learners, with programmes designed to support people at different stages of their freelance journeys.

At the Raenest Exchange, Victoria received the Community Builders Award for building communities where people learn, grow, and thrive together.

Faith Emmanuel | Remote Work Champions Award

Working remotely can open doors to opportunities worldwide, but finding the right role, presenting your skills, and building a lasting career takes more than a good internet connection. It takes guidance, preparation, and people willing to share what they've learnt along the way.

At the Raenest Exchange, Faith Emmanuel received the Remote Work Champions Award for creating pathways and support systems that help remote workers succeed. The recognition celebrates the importance of making global work opportunities more accessible and helping people build the knowledge and confidence to pursue them.

Achiever Omoobajesu | Financial Educators Award

When Achiever Omoobajesu started saving money as a teenager, she thought she was doing the right thing. But over time, she realised that putting money aside was only part of the picture. She wanted to understand how money worked, invest wisely, and make better decisions about her financial future. Her journey from saving ₦5,000 to exploring investment opportunities shaped her work today: making financial knowledge easier for everyday people to understand.

Known as Engr. Achie, Achiever now teaches financial literacy, investing, and wealth building through practical content, workshops, classes, and her Wealthive community. Her approach encourages people to ask questions, understand risk, and make financial decisions based on knowledge rather than hype.

At the Raenest Exchange, she received the Financial Educators Award for equipping people with the knowledge to build financial confidence, recognising her efforts to help more people take charge of their financial futures.

Stephanie Asoegwu (Crownz Designs) | Tech & Product Builders Award

A good design should do more than look appealing. It should help someone solve a problem, complete a task, or make sense of something that once felt complicated. That's the thinking behind Stephanie Asoegwu's work as a UI/UX designer and Framer developer, where she brings ideas to life through websites, apps, and digital product experiences.

Through Crownz Designs, Stephanie has worked on projects spanning finance, AI, web applications, and digital experiences. She's also shared her journey using AI tools to move beyond static designs and build functional products, showing how designers can take a more hands-on role in bringing ideas to life.

At the Raenest Exchange, she received the Tech & Product Builders Award for building innovative solutions that solve problems, recognising the value of turning thoughtful design into digital experiences people can actually use.

Paula Asinobi | Rising Star Award

Sometimes, finding your path means being brave enough to take a different one. For Paula Asinobi, that meant questioning what a career in law should look like and discovering that the skills she had gained could take her in a completely different direction. Rather than follow the conventional route into legal practice, she moved into operations, helping businesses build the structures and systems that turn good ideas into reality.

Paula's interest in helping people grow also extends to young professionals navigating the early stages of their careers. Through her work around career development and initiatives such as the Early Career Summit, she has championed access to guidance, professional development, and opportunities for emerging talent.

At the Raenest Exchange, she received the Rising Star Award for demonstrating exceptional promise and making a meaningful impact. Her recognition celebrates a growing journey built around helping ideas take shape and giving others more room to grow.

Beauty Hut | Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Founders Award

Finding your favourite beauty product shouldn't mean paying an unreasonable price, worrying about authenticity, or waiting weeks for it to arrive from abroad. Yet many African beauty consumers face these challenges. Subuola Oyeleye recognised this gap and set out to make quality beauty and personal care products more accessible to African consumers. After studying the industry and gaining experience working with global beauty brands and retailers, she launched Beauty Hut Africa in 2023 to connect consumers with trusted brands and help businesses reach new markets.

Today, Beauty Hut Africa is building a beauty retail and distribution business that connects local and international brands with consumers while creating opportunities for businesses to grow. Its vision extends beyond selling products to supporting the wider beauty ecosystem, including the people and brands shaping its future.

At the Raenest Exchange, Beauty Hut received the Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Founders Award for building an impactful brand, creating jobs, and nurturing talent.

Special Raenest Community Recognition

Behind every thriving community are people who give their time, share what they know, and make the journey better for everyone around them. From offering helpful guidance to answering questions and encouraging others, these contributions deserve recognition and celebration.

At the Raenest Exchange, we presented the Special Raenest Community Recognition Award to Dauda Sulaimon Abiola (Omoalhaja), Victor Ajide, Final Touch, Emmanuel Ochai, and Eseosa Smith to thank them for their consistent support, education, and inspiration within the Raenest community. This award is our way of celebrating their contributions and saying a heartfelt thank you for showing up, sharing their knowledge, and helping make our community a place where people can learn and grow together. We're grateful to have you as part of the Raenest story.

To close out, if this year's Raenest Community Impact Awards have shown us anything, it's that Africa's digital economy is full of people worth celebrating. From the ideas they're bringing to life to the opportunities they're creating for others, our winners remind us just how much is possible when talent meets purpose. We're proud to celebrate their work, share their stories, and give their contributions the recognition they deserve. And if 2026 has been this exciting, we can't wait to see what next year brings.

Here's to more brilliant ideas, stronger possibilities, and more people making an impact.

See you at the next Raenest Exchange!
